BBQ at Russ's

Russ was havin' a Mexican-American bbq and the food was plenty. We bought 12 pounds of meat.

Russ and Dave checkin' out the cooler.

rocco's hanging back in the sun.

Frisco...

Arrived at frisco somewhere around noon. Potrero park was the place to get some rollin' done. The park is build by dreamland and has one of the best surface i have ever skated.

The street/flow section...The park is build on a slope of a hill. From the bowl above you go down fast and take a left or right at the tranny-wall at the back of the park.

Dudes i met in frisco. From left: Fransesco and Chris. We're hangin out at twin Peaks here

Twin Peaks view. The big street going up trough the downtown city is Market street.

Dudes took me to 3rd and Army to skate some d.i.y. but the city took care of that.

In the afternoon we went to some other dude's place to have a little rooftop-bbq.

San Jose Skatepark

On my way to San Fransisco i stopped at San Jose's newest skatepark. This park is huge. One of the biggest of California. I had to sign a waiver and pay 5 bucks to get in and wear a helmet when skating.

The mouth of the beast gaping in front of me...Just roll in and see what happens.

Flow bowl with huge vert wall.

Cradle, roll-in stuf, hips, corners and then some...

Redwood Forrest and Ben lomond skatepark

We went to Redwood Forrest to take a look at some huge trees. I love it out here... Takin' it easy...Sunshine...The smell of pine trees...

This is me with 'The father of the forrest' the oldest tree around.

This is 'Mother of he forrest' giving birth.

After Redwoods it was time to lay down som' good ol' laybacks at Ben Lomond Skatepark. You can see by my face i'm taking it pretty serious.

Andrew busts a 50 around the hip.

Here's Ann about to carve the deep end.

Tim Brauch Memorial Skatepark (Scotts Valley)

Andrew and i took it to Scotts Valley to roll around at Tim Brauch Memorial.
Nice flow/street section... We've had the park for ourselfs, as the above picture oh so clearly illustrates.

Good bowl section either... There was a heatwave in Cali at the time i took this photo. Probably the reason why the park was deserted.

Santa Cruz evenings

Andrew and Ann fixed a nice diner for me. here's me and Ann toasting it up.

Later we went to the beach and got a bonfire going.

Yep, nice huh? Some Ranger showed up at ten o'clock to tell us we had to pack our things and leave...

Santa Cruz

I arrived at Santa Cruz and got reunited again with some friends: Andrew and Anne. Here's Andrew acting all busy on the phone.

We went to the local skatepark on the bikes.

Me acting lame on a bike...

Santa Cruz got a nice skatepark with the fullpipe and everything... here's me trying to grind past 9 o'clock

I don't think so dude... that's way off...i suck.

Highway 1, going north

After Joshua Tree park i got back to LA and got on Highway 1 somewhere in Malibu. It takes longer then the interstate but the views is like the finest ever dude... See here a little mountain straight out of a Bob Ross fuckin' painting.

Meanwhile at the beach, the elephant seals were getting there tan on... those blubberbutts smell the worst.

Morro bay, strange looking rock-mountain island.

Views like this i got to see a lot. The pacific Ocean on the left and mountains with grass and pine trees and shit on the right...

You bet your lame ass it's nice to be here...

Joshua Tree National Park

After Pala i drove a wee bit more to the North-East to check out some fine landscapes at Joshua Tree National Park. Spotted this ditch on my way up there...

Stopped at the joshua Tree Inn to pay some respect to dead homie Gram Parsons.

Room nr. 8, some whiskey and to much morphine...

Dude got ignited by road manager Phil Kaufman under this boulder...

The view was nice.

Desert and boulders and rocks and birds and lizards

Yeah...

Weird looking place...i like it. It wasn't to hot out here because it's between 2000 - 6000 ft. above sealevel.

Washington street and Pala

This day i went down south to San Diego to skate washington street. The place is so gnarly.
Huge vert walls everywhere.

They build a nice BBQ.

Like i said, vert walls everywhere...

Seriously you guys....Like 3 feet of vert wall..

And then head out east to Pala to find these vast seas of concrete!

Nice concrete flowsection and scorching hot, blazing sun...

Bible Bowl

Went to skate Bible Bowl this day. This pool is not like a real backyarder, it's more mellow.

David and 40 year old skaterdude
